DTS is a web-based, secure, end-to-end system that automates travel and travel management for military and civilian employees of the U.S. Department of Defense. More than 5 million travel authorizations and 4 million approved travel vouchers have been processed using DTS since it became operational at all major military installations in September 2006. The U.S. Air Force Headquarters 754th Electronic Systems Group awarded the task order under the Air Force Network-Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract on June 8. The initial period of performance for this contract began June 25.
The Northrop Grumman team also includes Dovel Technologies, McLean, Va.; Multimax Inc., Herndon, Va. (acquired by Harris Corp. on June 15); and Arena Technical LLC, Bethesda, Md.
